The three of us

– Karan Bir

Glittering lights hanging by the window,
colourful walls and the ambient environment.
A blissful moment to embrace,
then, the light goes off,
candle light dinner; momentary.
And he says, “I will
remember this for my lifetime.”

The falling rain and
the serene air.
I see her getting her hands outside the window
embracing the cooling weather; calm.

But this is momentary
and this momentary moments
that is what we live for.

The day might just be
the same tomorrow
but not us three and this table.
